Katrina Kaif had a good 2008, thanks to Akshay Kumar and now she'll have three guys vying for her attention in a brand new rom-com. The movie is being planned by her make-up artist Subhash Singh and will be his first production venture. He has chosen a subject that puts Katrina at the centre of the plot. Three men will woo her on the lines of 'There's something about Mary'.

Apparently the new producer, along with his partner, the failed actress Prerna Virendra, has finalized Ranbir Kapoor and John Abraham for the two male leads. But no one has been officially signed yet. Katrina has said 'yes' but is yet to sign on the dotted line. The make up artiste turned producer thinks that it is a project that does full justice to Katrina's image and will have her in her elements.

Keeping in mind the fact that Katrina's an wooden actress who got lucky, it's really difficult to believe that she will do justice to any role that requires her to emote and act. The buzz is that Kat seems willing to help her make-up man make a transition into film production. Well, the babe's desperate to show off her so called acting skills as well. Apparently Aziz Mirza is being considered to direct the film. We wonder what the fate of the film will be like in the end!

February 13, 2010, (Sawf News) - Sonam Kapoor will pair with Akshay Kumar in Anees Bazmee's upcoming comedy 'Thank You' replacing Katrina Kaif.

This will be 24-year-old Sonam's first film with 42-year-old Akshay Kumar.

Helmer Bazmee is unfazed by their age difference, so impressed was he with Sonam's performance and looks in Delhi-6.

'Thank You' is conceptualized to be an unabashed comedy and will be Sonam's first foray into the genre.

Sonam made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with Saawariya and then impressed the industry with her performance in Delhi-6 in 2009.

She will be next seen in Aisha based on Jane Austen's "Emma." The film is being produced by her father Anil Kapoor and directed by Rajshri Ojha. It additionally stars Abhay Deol and Arunoday Singh.

Sonam Kapoor has at least four other projects in various stages of pre-production. She was recently signed on for Pankaj Kapoor's directorial venture Mausam opposite Shahid Kapoor.

Katrina Kaif says 'no' to kissing scenes

MUMBAI - Katrina Kaif has said a firm 'no' to kissing scenes in her forthcoming films even if the script demands so.

"Katrina has said no to kissing scenes in all her films such as New York. And believe me, the directors are very keen to see her kissing her co-stars, but Katrina cleverly keeps dodging all the so-called must-kiss scenes,"says a friend of the actress.

"She is a very conservative girl at heart. In fact, when reports claimed she was going to wear a bikini in Dostana 2, Katrina protested violently and made it clear to producer Karan Johar and director Tarun Mansukhani that ther will be no kissing."

In fact, the cast and crew of Rajneeti calls Katrina the new-age Hema Malini because she has the hits and she won't expose or kiss.

Says Katrina with a laugh: "Well...that's true. Though comparing me with Hemaji is too much. I don't deny I've done scenes in the past where I did things that I wasn't comfortable with. But now I won't. I just don't feel comfortable doing kissing scenes, or for that matter, wearing a bikini on screen."

In both Ajan Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Rajneeti" there was apparently a request for a kiss with Ranbir Kapoor. But Katrina said a polite but firm 'no'.

Says a source: "All the intimate scenes in Rajneeti are between Ranbir and his American girlfriend played by Sarah Thompson. They have lingering love-making and kissing shots. In the Indian portion of Ranbir's story, there's no intimacy with Katrina. She convinced the director that the character of a dignified politician doing intimate scenes would not go down well with the audience."

Katrina says: "It's true... I'm not at all comfortable doing kissing scenes. Call me a prude or conservative. I just don't feel kissing scenes jell well with our audiences. So no kissing scenes for me."

So how can we make a conclusion that she is playing Sonia Gandhi in the film?

In the film Katrina went to politics after the death of her husband and in this hot Katrina will look in simple and totally changed make-over.
