Mehcad Brooks plays a New York Hawks’ star wide receiver, Terrence “TK” King; on the new hit series Necessary Roughness. TK is wild, confrontational, charismatic and stubborn and his coach’s biggest headache. Though a gifted player, TK is something of a loose cannon, with a violent temper, serious authority issues, and a nasty habit of dropping the ball. When his off-the-field antics grow out of control, TK is sent to Dr. Dani to work through his issues, and with her help manages to make some positive steps like remembering how to hold on to a football again.
